Youth Afterschool Program
We are currently in our inaugural year, planning, preparing, and initiating a Positive Youth Development After-school Program (PYDAP).
With the support of the Alaska Afterschool Network, YAS is working toward a sustainable program that will live on to support the future of middle schoolers in Sitka.
Information For Parents
All of our staff are trained in CPR/First Aid as well as trauma-informed intervention practices to support healthy coping and development in youth. Staff will always encourage positive communication, pro-social behaviors, and support students in being successful in a group environment.
Our goal is to empower youth to artistically express themselves, share their voice, gain life skills, and collaborate as leaders.
Information For Students
Welcome all 6th, 7th, and 8th graders!
